Your uncle will be eligible to receive your Zakat if the following conditions are met:

  1. He is financially needy: Your uncle will qualify for Zakat if he is poor, and struggling to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, or shelter. Zakat is intended to assist those who cannot support themselves financially. But helping needy family members with Zakat is even more rewarding and encouraged by Allah.
  2. He is not financially dependent on you: If your uncle is not reliant on you for his support, then he is eligible to receive Zakat. If he depends on your financial assistance for his daily needs, you are already responsible for supporting him, and you cannot give him Zakat.
  3. He is not from the family of Banu Hashim: Zakat cannot be given to those who are descendants of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), so if your uncle is from the Banu Hashim family, he is not eligible to receive your Zakat.

If your uncle meets these criteria, he is eligible to receive your Zakat. It is essential to ensure that he falls within the guidelines outlined in the Quran for Zakat recipients (Masarif-e-Zakat).

And Allah knows best!
